The 2018 Boys Tennis team concluded a successful season with a 2-3 sectional loss to Jeffersonville, picking up one win after a 1-4 loss to the team in the regular season. That first loss sparked an eight-match win streak, including defeating New Albany and Evansville Memorial and winning the Columbus East Invitational. The team finished with a 10-7 record and a No. 5 district ranking. Senior captain Carson Carrico became the first singles sectional champion for Providence since 1998 and fourth in program history.

The team also graduates senior Harry Green, who had a 13-5 individual record at No. 1 doubles. The future looks bright as the team will bring back five varsity starters in 2019.
