The 2020 Boys’ Tennis team looks to better the 12-9 mark set last season. Six varsity starters return to this year’s team. Seniors Michael Hamm, Landon Kruer, and Sam Bowles will lead the team while juniors Jake Rodski and Alex Barnett and sophomores Alex Kemp and Jacob Kaiser round out the starting lineup. Junior Zach Applewhite is the varsity first alternate.
Other team members include sophomores Nathan Huynh, Kole Galligan, and freshman Jacob Harbeson. Team goals include (1) maintaining all 2019 victories, including extending our four-year winning streak over New Albany, (2) adding wins against Seymour, Batesville, and Silver Creek (3) win the New Albany and Columbus East invitationals (4) win sectional (5) earn Team Academic All-State (combined GPA above 3.60).
