The Swim & Dive team had a successful 2017-2018 season as it continues to grow in size, enthusiasm and speed. This season also saw the return of the diving program.  In Girls Swim, the team won six dual contests throughout the season, but  more importantly, the swimmers improved their times meet after meet. At sectional, the team posted a 10-year high in points with 66, almost double its 34 points last year and seven swimmers advanced to the finals in seven events, including sophomore Meg LaMaster in the 200 IM and the 100 breaststroke and junior Abby Glotzbach in the 100 backstroke.  Senior Madison Roehrs, in her first year on the team, set a new school record in Girls Diving 6 and 11 and placed third at sectional and 14th in regional.

In Boys Swim & Dive team had a strong season, going 8-6 in dual meets with one of the largest teams in recent years. First-year diver junior Tanner Carver placed third in the diving sectional and 16th in regional. The swim team scored 76 at sectional and advanced seven swimmers in six events to the sectional finals, including senior Nick Katchur in the 200 IM and the 500 freestyle and freshman Kieran Kelly in the 100 breaststroke. The boys’ team graduates three seniors.
