PROVIDENCE PRAYER LINE
Updated August 31, 2010

Students, faculty and staff are invited to enter prayer intentions in the binder in the chapel.  Keeping in touch with God and praying for others is at the heart of Providence.  Before our daily mass, we read the intentions and keep them in our prayers during the mass.  Thanks, Fr. Mathew.

Join us in prayer for the following intentions:

- - - for Patricia Niehaus, who died on August and for her family.  She was mother of alums Jimmy ’72, Ricky ’81, past parent Janie (Niehaus) Bushau (mother of Jeremiah ‘06), grandmother of Nicole (Niehaus) Ferreri ’97 and Jesse Niehaus ’98.

- - - for Bernard "Joe" Beavin, Sr. who died on August 25 and for his family.  He was the father of Bernard Beavin, Jr., class of 1965.

- - - for junior Jacob Wethington, whose step-father died unexpectedly on August 27, and for his family.

- - - for the soul of Anthony W. Schmitt, Sr. '68 who died on August 27, and for his family.

- - - for the soul of Dorothy Andres Bertrand '56, who died on August 24, and for her family.

- - - for our cafeteria manager Mary Ann (Block) Reed '70, that her continued cancer treatments are successful and that God will continue to grant her endurance and peace of mind.

- - - for the soul of Rebecca "Becky" Friedman Gettelfinger, class of 1969, who died on August 17, and for her family.

 - - - for all military serving abroad and in particular our four graduates in Iraq and Afghnanistan and all Vetrans who have protected the freedoms we enjoy today.  For more information, see MILITARY ALUMS ABROAD.

- - - for vocations to the priesthood, religious life and missionary field, and that Providence High School and its families will provide a nurturing environment that fosters and supports these vocations.

- - - for all members of the Providence community!
